As many of you know, Payton has had a difficult time with respiratory illnesses. We went and saw a pulmonary/allergy specialist in Roseville. She was extremely helpful and diagnosed Payton with acute asthma associated with infections. She looked at our 3 xrays that we brought and just said, "oh, she has acute asthma." She pointed out her diaphragms on all 3 slides and showed us that they were flat-lined. They are supposed to be half circles. She thinks that Payton will grow out of her asthma. We also had her tested for a million allergies, 16 pokes to the back!, and all came back negative. We are so happy to know whats been going on with our little girl and now just have to keep her treatments up for the rest of summer and meet with the specialist again. Thank you Dr. Perez! :)
The other mystery... Our cat, Lola has this funny little head twitch. She shakes it uncontrollably. I took her to the vet to get spayed and they wouldn't do it because of her shaking. They told me to wait a month and reschedule because the shakes might be something she grows out of. Lo and behold... they were right! I don't want to jinx her, but she hasn't been shaking at all for about 2 weeks now. Yeah kitty. She's going in for the spay in the beginning of July! :)

So glad you are finally getting her illnesses figured out. I had been wondering what the outcome was. BUT< 16 pokes, how awful! Poor little thing having to go through that. Poor momma too!
